Depends what you mean by "like Deathnote"... If you mean a manga where it's more brainwork thingy rather than just outright fighting and stuff, then no, not really... Well, I haven't stumbled upon one...

I agree with anyone who says Japanese cartoons are overrated.

I also dislike some anime fans' attempts to give "otaku" a positive connotation, as if being some no-life creep is a worthy aspiration. It's crazy.
