Incredible story!
With an amazing analysisThingerDudes wrote:If the shoe missed the tree, then does this imply that inanimate objects are capable of emotions, and thereby love? If inanimate objects can love, what makes them so different from humans? Perhaps the author of this story is implying that because the inanimate objects were capable of emotion, they became too close to the boundary of humans and objects. By trying to cross this line, the objects brought only doom upon themselves. Humans by nature, dislike all that become too close to human, or objects that aspire to be human. perhaps this story is a modern take on an old classic, Pinnochio, where an inanimate puppet became human. This story examines further into what it means to be human and what it means to be human. Even though the physical exterior of the shoe and the tree were unlike humans, perhaps within their conciousness, they were capable of emotion, and therefore, human. Recommended Viewing: Blade Runner. I give this story a 4.5 out of 5.
....Damn English class! makes me over-analyze everything.

Thank you. I try my best. Although, what really backs your claim that this supposed analysis is amazing? To what credible evidence is there to support your opinion of the analysis? Don't we all have differing opinions? Isn't the truth the same as I believe it to be? for instance, if I believed that your opinion of the said analysis is amazing, then it would be "amazing" but if I believed it to be false, then it would be not "amazing". The truth is, all that you believe is the truth, but that is of course, assuming that you believe this to be the truth. To those living a dream, that dream is reality, and to those who live in reality, they may in fact, be living a dream. The truth is set by those who believe such facts, while in reality, nothing can be known for sure. Even this paragraph, which questions what constitutes as the truth, may in fact, be false. Truth and fallacy is all based on human beliefs, and human beliefs, as time has proven, are not reliable sources of facts.

Re: Names
I'm not answering that....but do I choose to not answer that, or was it predestined? am I doomed to stay on a path that I did not choose for myself? We have no way of knowing this, or ever knowing this. We can never know if we make our own choices or if they are chosen by some greater force. One may argue, if it is impossible to choose our own path, what is the point in trying? Why try, when all things are already set out for us? Perhaps that is the reason we all live; to find out whether we live b our own will or not. perhaps, in the end, all struggle for survival is futile. however, did those that give up really give up because they were chosen to? perhaps they gave up because of their own accord. We never know whether we live by our own choices or not. Perhaps our consciousness is a figment of someone's imagination, and perhaps we are all toys in a game of war. For all we know, we may not even exist. What truly defines us? What defines our own conciousness? Perhaps the only reason that we ask ourselves this, is because we all seek our own identity, and individuality. Follow-up viewing: The Matrix.

^ Simply put what you said...Itachi, Naruto wrote:"People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That's how they define "Reality." But what does it mean to be "correct" or "true"? Merely vague concepts... their "reality" may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs?"

As for this, yes you can start to think like that, believing that everything you do is just a path laid out for you. But I don't, mainly because I believe if you do, you'll end up pretty much insane... And I don't believe in anything that could control our lives...

Re: Names
Perhaps we cannot control our own lives. throughout our lives, we face so many unexpected variables, that we cannot truly control our lives. The only thing that makes our lives move forward is perhaps itself. By moving through life, we meet these variables and aspire to move forward. If we do not move forward with our lives, we will never encounter these variables, and our lives become dull and meaningless. However, by choosing to interact with these variables, one may meet consequences, such as a change pattern, or loss of the will to live. Because these variables are so unpredictable, we cannot see what effect they will have. However, only by taking the risk, can we continue to move on. As with anything else in life, life itself comes with a risk, and there are no guarantees.
I would keep writing these, but I'm out of ideas.....
