ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
Re: ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
Force yourself to do 20 push-ups and 50 sit-ups each time you catch yourself procrastinating. You'll either stop procrastinating or get fit. If the latter occurs, increase the amount of exercise, but do so exponentially, so that it comes to a point where it's really easier to do whatever you need to than do the exercise. And hey, if you can't stop procrastinating at least you'll be fit. So you can seduce the teachers or something.

Or they could end up just cheating themselves. Just saying, it's possible

Re: ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
So you know how I am guys, or at least how I try to be, just like don't giving a f*ck, doesn't caring, etc. I want to be like that because in other way I start caring A LOT for everything, and I get paralyzed and do nothing, and enter in depression, so I just try to don't care about almost nothing... and just live and so far so good...
There was a girl that I used to like in High School. Still today I like her, but just that, I just think she's cute/sexy, back then I didn't tried to build a human relationship with her... The problem it's that back in high school I was like I care for everything and I was too coward to try something with her, that screw it all, and I passed a terrible high school 'cause I could not understand that life is easier and from the ones willing to take chances. Today that changed, as I said, I don't care about much and from time to time I take chances in interesting ideas/projects/stuff...
The other day I was checking my facebook news/time line/feed/whateveryouwannacallit and a photo of her pop out, and my mind/human side/whateveryouwannacallit started working... Now I 'feel like' trying to date her again, but now I don't want to, back in high school she was the center of my life, but today I don't want to date her I don't care about having any kind of human relationship right now, what I wanna do it's find that I love doing, not a random girl that distracts me from that main objective.
The problem it's that the idea of her *'cause that's all I have of her* keeps coming back to my mind, and I going back to the depressions I used to have in high school, the same cold weather of october, the same cycle of wasting time in front of the computer, etc.
I don't know what to do. I'm pretty sure that if I try this time again I'll get a lot farther than last time...
BUT DON'T WANT

And want at the same time...
Thanks for your time guys, zya 'round

Re: ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
In my experience, dating someone even if it ends in heartbreak, or even trying to date someone and finding out they don't like you the same way, is infinitely better than not trying and regretting it later. You rarely get first chances, and so for a second chance to come along, that happens once in a million lifetimes. Go for it, mi amigo! Viva vraiment!
But if you don't trust my advice, let me give you the advice of the fortune cookie I just opened: "You could prosper in the field of wacky inventions."
Think about it.

I agree with the specimen of Homo Assdefus above. I heard once that if you asked anyone in their deathbeds, they'd say they regret not what they did, but what they did not do. I kind of live by that now. And hey, what's the worst that could happen? Your heart could be shattered in a million pieces. But who needs a heart? And it'd heal eventually. In the long run you won't even remember if something goes wrong. So I'd say, go for it.
Also, congrats on all the medals in the pan-American games.

ok, thanks for the advice, now I'm better and I kinda f*ck it up again, but I don't care, I'm back again, I'm myself again, and myself doesn't cares about gfs.
Also, thank you Arkie, I live in the city where are being held, and this two weeks were pretty crazy but also pretty awesome!

Re: ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
Take it from someone who used to be not able to live without having the feeling of a true love in my life... Or at least, what I thought was true love. I used to force myself to have a girl, any girl I could, and then shove love words and near-obsession down their throats, but after my longest running relationship, I chose to step back and look at myself.
I had a few casual flings, and figured out what I wanted in a "soul mate" or W/E you wanna call it, and then boom.
I found her. My now wife, Ashley, And we have a beautiful family, great friends, and a wonderful life.
It takes time, and sometimes all it really takes is for you to slow down for a minute and look at the big picture. And then have multiple relationships to be sure you have the right person in your life. And you may even get lucky and the first "casual" relationship will wind up being your future?
Good luck with everything

Re: ASDF Help Thread. [Serious]
I have a question for asdfers:
Snowball is coming up at school, and I don't want to go because I haven't asked anyone yet, and the tickets are freaking $25 each. Do you think I should ask someone and go because that's what normal people do, or just not go because I don't want to?

My guess is that it's a school dance.
Like Atom said, if you don't want to go, don't go. If you have friends that don't want to go either, you could invite them over to hang out. Buy some snacks and rent a movie or something. It'll probably be less than $25 a potential for more fun.

If you don't want to go to something then don't go because if you end up going you won't have a good time and thus, you just wasted 25 buckaroos. There's a lot more you could do with that money.....

I thought it must be. I've heard of other schools having dances called the Snow Ball. They all think it's a really creative name, too.

i prefer snowballs that are made of snow, and are.. umm, actually balls (not balls). Calling balls that are not balls, but balls is just balls.
