Our codices consisted of books. But they were much more high tech than the ones here.

Well, I was flying around in my MSZ-006 Ζeta Gundam, when some dolt attacked me and I suffered unrepairable damage. So, I had to crash land on earth. But, they lacked the technology here to fix my gundam, so I had to stay.
