Over the past month that I have been involved with asdf and the asdf forums, I have noticed some details about this community.

1. We go off topic almost always, therefore we all have ADHD.

• We always screw around with the words that each other posts when we have nothing to do, and make Spoonerisms

• We tend to go on rants about existance and philosphy and such, and my IRL friends call us Delusional.

• And, of course, we are on a Forum.

And so, this is what asdf stands for. ADHD Spoonerism-making Delusional Forums.

For a forum game, I have an idea that would take considerable considerable considerable work. If you've ever seen the game show, Family Feud, we can have a similar team-based game on the forums. As soon as enough people become active, we can split up into teams, and each team player earns points for the team by posting, referring others, and such. We can have a separate thread with that score tallied up, and it would be great fun and make the forums a lot more lively, in my opinion. I'm starting a med-sized roleplaying forum where the theme is a medievil (spelling?) dungeon spelunking (spelling again?) roleplay. I know that there are like 2 or 3 active roleplayers on this forum, so if you think that this would be fun and happy, tell me via pm or email, please.

I assume that we all agree that we need more active member on our forum. Do you think that we should advertise somehow, or would that just bring the bad type of attention to the forums?

i'll reply to your stuff soon, right now as to the username thingy, why would you do that? also, i don't think i'll change it for you, i've only changed peoples usernames if they had good reason for it. Furthermore, you'd still be called Dreams.

2. Good luck, but unfortunately, I don't really see it taking off.
3. I'll have to take a look at those forums. I've been part of a few RP forums, but as the players lose interest or get busy, the RPs tend to slow down and die out.
4. Word of mouth advertising might work, if the members who are here know people who might be interested.
5. How serious are you about video editing? You can make all sorts of things with Flash, but from what I've seen (I honestly hadn't heard of Vegas until now) all you can do with Vegas is Video editing. Maybe you could get an Adobe suite that includes both Flash and Premiere?
6. I don't have the power to change names, but if I did, I'd agree with atom. Unless there's a good reason, I wouldn't do it, or else everyone would be asking for a name change.

i don't get the new roleplay thingy idea, but i don't really care.

Vegas is for video and/or audio editing. Flash is for making cartoons/games/interactive web content, and it needs quite a bit of learning to make anything useful with it.

True, but Adobe is all about the suites. If you got the suite, it would come with Photoshop and some other stuff. Of course, it would cost a bit more, too...

Adobe trials sometimes last longer than the 30 days. There may or may not also be programs that trick the trial into thinking that it's still valid...
