There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Forums of ASDF. But it was a beginning.

i agree with you on most of that. i mean, religion is based opn what you feel, it shouldnt be on waht others tell you you HAVE to believe.atomtengeralattjaro wrote:wow, Cap'n Krello, thanks for clearing that up for the ppl who are terribly misguided..
I would add that you can be religious in thousands of ways.. I personally am a christian, but not 100%.. I like the Bible, but most 'stories' in it are about stating an example of how ppl should live, and showing the wonderful power of God.. you don't have to actually believe there was a man who turned water into wine, but you must see the beauty of nature and people and everything with your inner self
for me, religion is mostly about going through things in a manner that you feel, not just see. To live with your soul. Thus, you'll necessarily feel a higher power that you cannot comprehend, and you shouldn't even try to.. that is where ppl fail, the ppl who judge religion as it is "unexplainable".
okay i know this is messy and i cant fully explain my thoughts on this, sorry for the long post
catholics do not worship saints. they celebrate them as good people who deliver the word of God and Christ. Much in the same way as deciples in Christianity. we do not WORSHIP deciples, but we admire and celebrate them in a way that could be viewd as idolization.krell wrote:1. What hobo origianlly came on here for is Catholic. Catholisism is similat to christianity, in the fact that they beilieve in christ and stuf. But its totally different in the fact that Catholics beleive in praying to and worshiping saints, which is false Idolism. Christ teaches that false idolism is bad, and can send you to hell. Catholics still need to be "saved". and Catholisism is NOT a subdivison of christianity. Baptism and lutheran, penticostal ect, ARE. sry hobo, had to bust you on that one
i am probably a mix of catholic and christianity, but mostly christianity.
and
you know whose really against christaianity? lol, AMERICAN IDOLI just wrote:but we admire and celebrate them in a way that could be viewd as idolization.
