having multiple threads divide up tasks is good though. Don't let this thread die before killing its children otherwise you might have zombies and orphans running about.

yeah when you have lots of tasks that can/need be completed asynchronously lots of threads can be good but then you have to worry about concurrency and things like that or you can get deadlocks or there's sometimes bugs with timings and lots of fun things.

Yeah. I haven't gotten into threads in programming a lot because of those potential issues. Luckily, the programming that I have to do is a small enough scale that I don't have to worry about it.
