Good story? Check out Blackest Night, Kingdom Come, "Entre las patas de los caballos", Emerald Down, Bungie's Marathon, Bioshock's Rapture, entire Bionicle story (they got one of the most evil characters I've read about), etc. Those are EPIC stories...
