I'm getting braces in a few weeks and I'm asking around about pain. A friend down the street said it hurts to the point of crying. I'm scared.

It does not hurt at all. Atleast it does not for me. I guess it depends on how much a person can handle and the different methods the dentists use.asdfkumquat wrote:I'm getting braces in a few weeks and I'm asking around about pain. Re: Is it worth it?
Thank you, Keys... It really does depend on how much I can take, but I am pretty tolerant, in terms of physical pain.

The only problem you may find with braces is when eating. That is just at the beginning and then it wears off.
