The menu where you can see the word "normal" is for font size. If you select with the mouse a part of the text while you are making the post, and then you select a font size from that menu, than the selected text will be between codings , and after you submit your post, it will be in the new font size.
For bolding, mark the text and click "B" from the buttons above the field for writing.
Example
This code is for size. If you write sonething between its parts, it will be in a bigger size.
This code is for bolding text. If you write something between its parts, it will be bolded.

A cool hint: you can always know what your number should be by looking at how many posts there are.
I'm surprised that this game has lasted so long without even being off a little. (except that time you guys jumped to 7000 briefly lol)
