Today I crossed a street and yet again I had to think about the probably hurt feelings of the drivers who had to slow down a little more than they were comfortable with, at the crosswalk, to avoid having to murder me. It must be so hard for them.

...and the gas guzzler has wroomed its last wroom in the distance. Faint birdsong arrived on a light breeze.
On the otherwise empty 20-lane highway, a fleet of trucks delivered a ginormous tunnel boring machine.
"At last", the submarine sighed,
"I'll be able to take the metro"
For once the giant tunnels are completed, no longer will inland destinations be out of reach for seaborne vessels.
"I'll just hop in the dry dock, and from there, I'll roll onto a train carriage taking me into a tunnel. Next stop, downtown!" - the nuclear submarine is excited for the future.
