guys, we've been kinda ignoring the results of the poll
anyway bookie, if you think you can "organize" it and that it would be interesting (not impossible but still playable), then i don't see why we shouldn't try it.

The only way I think it could legitimately work is if moderators were to put hidden messages in peoples posts, but that's pretty much an abuse of'power, and not many people would want to join in.

it could work if people hid messages in their new posts.. well, one message per "round", depends on the rules of the game. But if someone takes the time to quote every single new post, it's not really a challenge..

anyways, i could start the hide and seek, but i need the people who want to play to promise that they dont sneak a peek at asdf before the date of when hide and seek begins. and should a cheater (as unlikely as it seems) do cheat, the moderators know who comes on and off right? you can tell what computer they are using too right? so that cheaters who are hidden as guests are detected.
required for a hide and seek:
1 volunteer moderator
1 volunteer hider
a couple of seekers (2 or more is fine)
and a forum (of course)
