Yes that's true... York is still a Dutch city...

Jan and Kees were common names for Dutch people, I think Yankees comes from that...

I'm pretty sure he means New York...but I live in York region which was named after the English city...and there's a London in Canada as well...people need to be more creative in naming cities....

There is a dutch city called York... They went to the currect new york and wanted to found a new York...
