I believe placing blame on people is only something we use to make ourselves feel better. Really, it is everybody who ever has purchased a petrol products fault. Because we supported them, allowing them to keep distributing oil so that led to the oil spill.

That's true... I read in the paper that a lot of people are trying to cut down on their fossil fuel consumption because of what happened.

This shouldn't have been the thing to make them realize that burning fossil fuels is bad for the environment. They should have cut back a long time ago.
