We always stick with the best.. that's a motto we live by here in the US of A.
but california is cool, it's the best place you could be. I was told this by somebody that has lived in all 50 states.

The only cool parts of California are the smog filled cities where noone can really afford to live.

Was it Arnold Schwarzenegger who said this to you?

It does exist, but it's not really from pollution.

It come from a giant machine that evaporates chocolate milk into the atmosphere.

In that way he failed as a leader. I believe a great leader must not only be able to lead his people, but he must lead them in the right direction, he must have some kind of foresight.

He utterly failed in this area. He led his people to destruction and poverty, much worse then conditions before he became fuhrer.

He has earned the title of great manipulator though.
Actually Germany and some other countries were apparently in a better economic state during his reign than before. Great leader? Not so much... Politician sure, but he was no leader, he was a ruler. He wasn't great he had good points but it's like trying to justify an ornamental spear rammed through your chest. It looks nice, served it's purpose, sharp like a good spear, and probably worth a lot... but the cons (such as BEING RAMMED THROUGH YOUR CHEST, and blood loss, and potential death, and inevitable complications, etc) out weigh any pros about that spear.

As for all Americans saying their state is better I think most of North Dakota, Wyoming, and some parts of Michigan would have something to say about that, among others I've never been to.

So new subject then? How about your favourite kind of science fiction?

What's your favourite story over all ? (can be movie, game, book, comic etc., no star wars prequels please)

Which is your favourite sci-fi character overall?

What is your favourite sub genre as a whole (space travel, futuristic setting, time travel etc)?

My favorite story is called ORCS, it's a fantasy. But my favorite genre is historical fiction, especially the Ethan Gage series.

I like the ones that deal with the human condition, like Blade Runner. I still have to read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I've been meaning to do that ever since I've seen the movie, but haven't found the time. the best sci-fi book I've read is Le Papillon des Etoiles by Bernard Werber (파피용 in Korean). it's about these people who build a giant spaceship to escape earth and colonize another planet because they find that there is no hope left on earth. they design the spaceship to last several generations of people, and it's just a great story overall imo. I don't think it's that well-known in the english speaking world though.

The first book on it's own is quite short, and it's super funny.
