It has in my region... It really has... I've seen things like divorce after one fight after one week of marriage... :?
Most couples I know don't marry because they don't see the point... They know they love each other already and don't need to prove that in a marriage...

Here's what I think of marriage.

Marriage, to me, will be, if it happens, the most important day of my life besides having my first child, if that happens...

In my religion, It's the final sacrament. So, yes it is important to me. But, the economy sucks, no one has money because of that...as we can imagine, marriages are damn expensive, especially the one I picture for myself. (Cathedral, gigantic cake, victorian wedding dress...fanciness.) I really feel that marriage is important, but as CX said, most people do not see the point in marriage because they don't need proof. It's common here, too, especially with women who have children with their boyfriends, and then soon break up after. People really don't try to work out their problems with one another, sometimes it's only a one-sided relationship. There's a definite change in our way of life, and no it isn't a very good change, imo.

So, what I'm trying to get across here is, yes marriage is important to me and I would love to have a wedding, but I can't see that happening, due to expenses and fear of divorce. (this may also be why couples choose not to be married.

When you're going to get married, fear for divorce shouldn't be worrying you, you'll have to make certain that person is the one that you're spending the rest of your life with... And personally I think one must at least have tasted life before committing a single relation to it... In other words, don't marry too young... :)

And according to americancatholic, marriage is the fifth sacrament out of seven... Not the final... ;)

On a side note, I think the person's who designed that site CAPS was on...

I think Michele's post can move us onto the next subject: money.

Questions:

1. where do you get you money from? (job, government, parents etc)

2. what do you spend it on usually?

3. Do you ever give your money to those who need it more? (like charity or something...)

1. 90% from job, the rest from parents...
2. I don't usually, recently I've bought a computer, other then that, a game, occasionally...
3. Sometimes, in cities, when there is a bagger... But I rarely visit cities...

(the 6th and 7th are a sacrament of healing, and a sacrament of becoming a priest or deacon. They're only done if necessary.)

Questions:

Job, mostly. Other rare occasions my mom gives me 10 to go out and do thins with friends.

2. what do you spend it on usually?
Movies, lunch, or burger king

3. Do you ever give your money to those who need it more? (like charity or something...)
I would, but i usually don't have very much for myself as it is...(that sounds awful...)

Interesting subject!

1. All from a job. I borrow money from my dad some times, but I always pay him back with my own money.
3. Not usually...
2. Bills first, Pay my dad back if I owe him (I pay my insurance through him), Gas (which I generally include in the bills part), then I put about 300 usd into a savings account or what ever I can, the rest (usually 50 usd or something) goes to me which I spend on games or books or something of the sort. I've been making more money lately, my last check was 544 USD so I put more into my account and such, I have a loan I'm paying off, so some goes into that and what not.

1. parents.. i should work at summers but i'm lazy and nothing really motivates me :P
2. hmm, i really don't spend much. cinema and possible other entry fees for cultural programs (concerts, exhibitions etc.)
3. i usually don't have much money with me, and giving to beggars is a different thing than giving to charity organizations.. well, i should but i usually don't. There are many intrusive beggars in my city, and they totally don't deserve a coin.. :|

Why don't they deserve a coin?!...
On the game I played, I helped people and giving them a supply of items and stuff, but that's not charity either then... :?

Well, okay I did donate 10 inches of mah lovely locks...
But, I really should begin to think of people who really need things more than I do...I donated all of my stuffed animals that I didn't want anymore! From time to time I donate clothes that I cant wear anymore...and I love going to food banks to pack food for the needy. :) lolz what an angel I am.

Who wants to go to a food bank with me!?

 You truly deserve your title as princess... You remembered me that I put my old shoes into a container not so far away... I think they go to somewhere where they need it...
Over at the container park, I think they have a container for clothes, they may go to somewhere to... Don't know... :?

1. I've only ever had one job, but I've never really had a lot of money before then. my parents used to give me a certain amount of money every month for things I needed, and i saved that up to buy things I like.

2. I spend most of my money on music. occasionally buy video games though, but I haven't done that in a long time.

3. I don't usually give money to the homeless, because they could be drug addicts, and I don't want to pay for their habits. If I see people collecting for charity, I give them a few of the coins I have in my pocket, because I can't sign up to a charity that takes money from your bank account every month, because I don't have a permanent job, and I'd just run out of money.

Sort of. I don't pay rent or utilities, but that's about it. Internet, Phone, Insurance, Food, Car, all mine to pay for. Except I only eat when it's free lol.

Right now, no. I was working overnights for a little bit, that is 10pm-6am, so I couldn't really take any classes. I'm still in Jazz band but other than that I have to wait till next semester.
