I did a university course in C# and it was interesting enough, but I don't have the patience, or the time, or ability to sit still at a desk on a computer for hours.

LOL, yeah. It takes a lot of that. Also, resistance to random sleepiness.

I dunno, I just lack the passion for it I think. I still like the idea of making cool programs and games etc, but yeh.

I usually do, but if I have a passion, or a purpose, I can usually focus long enough to do the job. My school doesn't help, we get 4 periods a day, that are 75 minutes each. >.>

I'm homeschooled, as you know, and I dunno if that helps or not.

Being homeschooled has its ups and downs. I dunno how you do it, but I assume there would be flexible schooling times, and homework isn't really homework. Your teacher is your parents, or someone you're close to, which may make it easier to learn. You'd be in a familiar and comforting environment. But without going to school, it's a lot harder to make friends, you don't get to get out of the house as much, you don't get to develop as good social skills, and you get taught by people who specialise in what they're teaching (usually).

Yeah. About the friends bit, even if I did go to school, I wouldn't make any friends. Most people are put off by my eccentric attitude and appearance, and very few people enjoy the company of nerds. I really don't care about developing social skills much, and the ones I will probably ever need, I've developed already. I'm kind of a loner, even though my mother insists I'm a very social person. And I don't really get 'taught'. My father gives me a pile of books and exercises to study, and I do. Then I write reports on them. After that, we discuss what I've learned. So that's basically how I'm homeschooled. Not that any of you would really care.

Oh yeh, that seems cool. I'm not a big fan of writing reports, though, I'm more of a visual, active learner. I learn better by doing things, usually with the guidance of someone who's better. And you can't get overly more eccentric than me, I have little dignity and I have Bipolar Disorder. XD

And don't put yourself down so much, you'd be amazed at who cares and who's willing to listen, if you just give people a chance.

gee. what's this 'appearance' bit? why do you think that a real kind of person would make assumptions based on appearance prior to interaction? :?

I hope you're being sarcastic because opinions of people these days are based heavily off of appearance. Unforunately, as that holds nearly no relevance in reality.

I don't mean physical appearance. I mean that people look at what I do and stuff, and they freak out.

Sadly, true.
