it is...there's a word for it in Korean and Chinese but I don't know what it is in English....
0 = 무 which means nothing
1 = 유 which means that there is something
and the two words are opposites...

When it comes to binary
0 = no signal
1 = signal

If there is electricity flowing it is a 1 if there isn't it's a 0, and that's how the computer communicates w/ anything.
