asdf.wad (more DooM)

Due to the amount of DooM I play (more than 30 minutes in a week), and the sheer amount of mods for DooM is just huge, I noticed that there isn't any asdf.wad, which really disappointed me.

And so, I would like to announce to you all that I shall work on a DooM mod dedicated to ASDF which would function as a multiplayer deathmatch wad (hosted on asdfserver, aka my computer), but I may configure it so it would be somewhat entertaining for singleplayer too.

Well, so far, I have 3 levels planned out, and I was hoping to get at least 7 or 8, so go ahead and pitch ideas, but please don't aim for my face!

Note: The modification has very little to do with ASDF, and is more random than anything else, but so is ASDF, so I guess it has something to do with ASDF!

Actually, it'd DooM 2 (for the sheer easiness for me, I'm very lazy).

No, but it's very easy to get through other means (Steam sells it for $10, or you could get it via some other method, if you know what I mean... ).

So far, for ideas, I have:
- A diner (finished)
- a hotel
- a hallway of dimensions (very weird)
- the village from Le Chocolat
- a redneck house (and have rockets as the only weapon )

Okay, let me do some explaining:

DooM, the game engine is free. You can download several different source ports, and in this case, I'll be using Skulltag (due to its multiplayer support, it can be found at http://skulltag.com/).

DOOM2.WAD, the file that contains all the data for DooM, is required to play the modification (let's call it the International WAD), and is not free. You'll have to get that somehow ($10 on Steam, $20 from idsoftware.com, or use other methods of getting it).

The modification (we'll call it the Patch WAD) itself will obviously be free.

I hope this is clear enough.
