[RANT] I've been thinking
and apparently the rest of America hasn't. Yep this is a rant! So feel free to not read this until the end.
It seems that, yet again, Barack is handing out another billion, or rather he wants to and more than likely will. The plan is to put about 1.5 billion usd towards helping Pakistan or Iraq (didn't care at that point) to help rebuild. I'm all for helping someone especially if there is something to gain, but what I want to know is this. Who is producing all of that money when we are in a multi-trillion dollar deficit? Where is this money coming from? I believe they are just 'making' it, it comes from nowhere it seems, and that does not help anyone. It's like the 'economic stimulus package'. Give the states money to stay afloat if you must but do not, DO NOT, give it to businesses! Or rather don't give it to businesses that have gone under for their own incompetence. When these banks are getting out of a rut on government help, yet the small businesses are failing because of the banks faults, no one is getting helped. We are not living on our efforts anymore we are living on out wishes, and pleas! If we really want to get out of this economic problem we have, let the big businesses die out, let the other responsible owners take over, that's how this system works. We are capitalist and it should be run as such, I may not like the system but I do have to live with it. So when the glaring mistakes show up and we put effort to cover it up and cast them aside then we only hurt our selves. I am still an Obama supporter but the way he's tossing money around is just irresponsible. I don't know if ye non-Americans know what I'm talking about but you can read up. What were turning into is the situation from Atlas Shrugged, only slower and more painfully.
Soooo in relation to that I ask this... of those who believe in the reward of their efforts, who believe that self sacrifice is not only unnecessary but wrong, who believe that people should earn not simply be given, and who believe that wealth is not bad nor is the lack of it. I would like it if in your daily lives you write this somewhere public, or leave it on paper or something in public, because people need to see/understand it now more than ever.
I swear -- by my life and my love of it -- that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
For those who haven't read the speech or book view here. Condensed version here.
It's a shame Ms.Rand isn't here to set us right...

I'm not saying that Barak is a 'bastard' I support most of his other uh... stuff. Just how he's treating the economy could use some work. However when you look at the human (american) mindset, come election time who else were they gonna pick, even if they didn't completely like Obama many people were put with this choice
-McCain (just another bush, and no country wants that)
-Third party (because that's all people think even though they usually are the best choice imo, but everyone thinks a vote for TP is a wasted vote)
-people no one has heard of untill they read the ballot or
-Captain Black Man who seems to know what he's talking about and might be a good choice.
I my self voted third party but don't hate Barak... I just like Nader and the other Third Party crew more. I don't remember if Nader even ran last year but I don't care...

Yeah... But in the US, you have to work or you're screwed, and I mean really screwed... And these days it's not that easy to get a job either... So I'm not a 100% for the "American Dream" thingy...

uh..
"helping" a developing country is usually a HUGE business, but only for the giga-companies that are contracted.. basically the whole let's-invade-a-country-and-then-rebuild-it thing is a huge business for some groups of people, i'm not saying these are close to the u.s. government but it's very likely. (This is not a conspiracy theory)

Working people pay half of their months wage partly for people who don't want to work...
I give it another 10 years, max...

It's kinda like that in Norway too, you can do pretty much fine by not working... You won't live in a villa or something though...
