My old teacher used to say that if you don't learn something every day, that day is wasted...

If you don't learn something everyday, that day was stupid or you were high?

Re: In memory of Kurt Cobain
In theory, if you learn nothing on a given day, then you learn that you learned nothing. therefore, you did learn something. but by learning something, the thing that you learned becomes false. By saying that you learned nothing on a given day, you create a paradox, and therefore, you cannot truthfully say that you learned nothing.

Re: In memory of Kurt Cobain
this is very epic indeed, but if you learn nothing a day, that doesn't mean you realize it. You can wake up the next day and still don't realize that you haven't learnt anything yesterday.ThingerDudes wrote:In theory, if you learn nothing on a given day, then you learn that you learned nothing. therefore, you did learn something. but by learning something, the thing that you learned becomes false. True... And if you "learn" that you didn't learn anything, that isn't really learning, that's just realizing...atomtengeralattjaro wrote:this is very epic indeed, but if you learn nothing a day, that doesn't mean you realize it.
