I managed to get Firefox's zooming somewhere between 2 zooming steps, meaning that when I zoom in, everything is bigger than normal, and when I zoom out, everything is smaller than normal...
What can I do?!...

Then I'm not really sure... Have you tried checking the Scale (Not sure what it's called) tab under View? Have you tried restarting the browser? Going in and out of full screen?

I guess I'll just have to get used to it...

The file "Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/greprefs/all.js" has a setting that says:
Code: Select all
// Zoom prefs
pref("browser.zoom.full", false);
pref("zoom.minPercent", 30);
pref("zoom.maxPercent", 300);
pref("toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues", ".3,.5,.67,.8,.9,1,1.1,1.2,1.33,1.5,1.7,2,2.4,3");
dunno if you can/should edit this, i'd definitely make a backup first..
although reinstalling FF shouldn't take long, just dont forget to backup your settings and bookmarks and stuff.

Editing doesn't seem to help...
Code: Select all
// Zoom prefs
pref("browser.zoom.full", false);
pref("zoom.minPercent", 100);
pref("zoom.maxPercent", 100);
pref("toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues", "1");
But thanks any way...
EDIT: A de-install (while keeping preferences, addons and bookmarks) and re-install doesn't fix it... Clearing all recent history doesn't help... Private browsing works, but I can't always private browse...
