Anyway, I have a problem. Lunch time in my school is really boring, so I have to take my DS to have something to do. Unfortunately, seeing as I walk 1km to school every day for going and another km for coming back home, I am a little scared of being robbed (as in, the thief takes your stuff while pointing a gun/knife at you) and losing my DS, even though there is a police post in front of my home and another one near my school. And 1km is not much at all, so it really isn't that danerous. Still, I'm paranoid and can't help thinking about the possibility of being robbed. I even have a mp3 player for going to school (I like to walk while listening to music), instead of using my DS (I have a flashcart, and can play music in it, yes) because it is cheaper in case of being robbed, and also because the DS would stand out much more in my pocket, potentially attracting thieves.
Well, does any of you have any idea of how to safely hide the DS in my bag? Where to put it in such a way that a thief wouldn't look for something in this specific place? I tried putting it in my pencil/stuff case, but i wont fit in...
Any ideas? Just to calm down my mind?
Didn't know Canada was so corrupted... :?

You should bring a deck of playing cards to school and ask who wants to play... That's we (the class and me) always do...

People here don't like playing cards a lot... And I also didn't know Canada was corrupted

Oh never mind about Canada, I confused you with Thinger...
So yeah, the US, I know it's corrupted... :)

Well you won't know unless your try... We're playing a game that's easy to learn - tough to master... It allows playing properly together with having a decent conversation...
And when we're not playing cards, we're usually talking... Me being the class jester, I have no trouble filling in the gaps...
Um... You DO have friends right... :P

Yeah
It's just that I have dozens of new games on the DS that I want to try out and play, but, when I'm home the PS3 and PC outshine it so I prefer those instead... And when I go out to do something, I, uh, do something, meaning, lunc break is the only time I'd really enjoy my DS in a normal day... And also, I often play with my friends too...

If you get mugged you're not going to be able to stop it at all. Being big might deter the guys a little bit though.

I'm big enough... But still, being shot isn't really a dream of mine, and if they rob me that way I'd rather just give all my stuff than possibly being killed... Wich is why I'd rather hide my DS...

Hmmm... What's wrong with putting the DS in your inventory so the bad guys don't see it when you're walking by?!... :)

I'm afraid of being robbed even with that... Because I walk with headphones on and that may catch some attention... Although thetimes that I already took my DS I did that... And hid it in a cap and in the very very bottom of my bag.... Wich a potential robber might want to check... But if it was really well hidden, he wouldn't see it... Now, just where is "really well hidden"?

My question is why are you so worried about being robbed? Is the crime rate that bad where you are, or do you live in a bad neighborhood? If I were you I'd try to find a better way to get to school or way to calm your mind to your surroundings. If it's bothering you so much that your having a DS on you will tempt someone to rob you (the DS being worth little used and even less to someone not interested in it) then I'd just not take it, or get rides to school, or walk with someone or something along those lines.

Um lunar... I think this map says enough...
The ONLY orange coloured country...

Arkie, do you have secret sections in your backpack?!... Or you could even try carving out a phone book and putting your DS in there... I don't think robbers will be interested in phone books... :P

They're white or green... Green meaning less corrupt, white meaning they don't make their numbers public (like china)...
