Then everyone will be fighting over urine supply.

If you are going to try sushi, may I suggest eel first. The cooked kind to start out with. It's the safest (besides the california roll) and it's my favorite.

That's probably a good idea, although the thought of eating eel scares me also. Is it easy to chew?

Eel is good, but I looked at the underside prior to eating it my first time--didn't go too smoothly. The second try was good though. Kani sushi (crab stick) is also very simple and delicious, along with Ebi sushi (Shrimp).

Aw, man. Now I'm going to look too!

I used to be picky about eating stuff that looked strange, but I don't really care anymore--I tend to try everything at least once. Eel tastes very different than it looks--it's actually mushy and sweet.

A saying that has always worked for me: What great things could a person hope to accomplish if they fear something as small as sushi?

(Obviously the sushi part changes depending on what you're talking about)

I definitely do agree with that. Well, I'll have to give it a try then.

oh yeah i recommend cucumber roll first, as it is simple, small, and easy to chew.
and then you get the spider rolls.

I will never be able to bring myself to eat a mushroom. Just the idea makes me gag

:o that's sad. mushrooms are mushy and roomy, as we already discovered.. and they are delicious.

I love mushrooms. They go great on pizza, in soups, in sandwiches or just by themselves. As far as taste goes--unless they're cut thick and are entirely plain--they don't really have much of a taste. They sort of take on the flavor of whatever you're eating and enhance it.

Thick and plain, however, they're a bit strong but not unpleasant.
