Heres an idea, now that ASDF is and has been expanding.


I think it would be great to create this:

We can have usergroups in which only certain members are allowed, members who are voted on by members already in the group. The modderators would be the first two members in the group, and they would choose a few others to join thm in that group. then, together, the members in that group could discuss wether or not they want other certain members or not. this would be done in a forum section that would only be open and visible to members of the usergroup.

the usergroup could be called "ASDF's Finest" or something.

this would not only cause for some fun topics of discussion as well as a bit of mature privacy, it would also create a reason for members to interact a bit more and try to be nice.

in the forum section for the group, they could nominate and hold polls of wether or not to invite a certqain person...

what do you think?

i will probably pm a copy of this to the modders and philtom as well.

I only dont like it bcause I wouldn't be able to choose members and stuff.. I don't want anyone to feel they're not as good as others *laughs* after all this is all about fun

How would it coexist with the WoF? The WoF is run by moderaters (so you'd think it's the best one) but it's very easy to get into and not taken seriously...

this would be different. its ASDF's Finest, there would be no wall.

Okay, so I know i am not one of those named in the title, but I was thinking about that exact thing yesterday, in light of the whole zxcv thing...

Everyone PM Philtom to ban zxcv and any new accounts he makes...

That would be decided later. I think only the modderators and three other people should be starting the group, and then they will be the "elders" and choose who to invite, and as we continued, there would be promotions and such and blahblahblah...

so..

Combined with a usergroup, because the usergroup WoSh is pointless because they can leave when they want...

you can ask the elders or members if you can join, and then they'll debate it.

in the special forum that is...

and im sure many would join, but this would only be for active members.

if it wouldn't mean lesser activity in the general forum..

i doubt it would... its just a fun thingy...

From my experience this type of thing creates an area where more important subjects can be discussed between the admins of the forum. I think it's a good idea if the forum expands to many different sections, not just General and Art so that the different mods can go back to the private forum or what have you and discuss whatever is important.
