cucumbers as well, amirite? Just look at how each grow their seeds in a similar pattern.

Nope. Cucumbers are a type of gourd. Zucchini etc. are squash.

Edit: They are in the same family, though. So related, just not the same species.

maybe one of them's adopted or both or maybe because everything is related in the sense that there was some proto-lifeform that was the common ancestor to all life or something like that idk

I took some classes on poetry so if I am reading that passage correctly I think it means the singer has an erection. But I could be wrong.
