Strange things can happen when there are multiple java versions on a computer.. best uninstall anything that's not the most recent.

So... I haven't made any progress on Haxe, on the Unicode module/package/thing for Unicon, or the GUI WYSIWYG thingie for Python. Good thing I have a holiday coming up. Plenty of time to play with my gifts make progress on my very serious projects.

Part of me really wants to crank out the Unicode module, but another part of me really just wants to play with my Christmas presents.

I mean during the break.

As a side note: I love isitchristmas.com. The flags chasing each other is new this year, isn't it?

it's a bit glitchy for me though, it doesn't start for a while, that's why I didn't notice anything special before you mentioned it. It doesn't even start at all now.
On a side note, I missed what it showed on christmas.

I believe the flags are the mouses of the people visiting the site, with the IP address of origin dictating the flag shown.

And on Christmas the site read "YES"

That's exactly what it represented, as far as I can figure.

Anyway, I have a new programming assignment that I've given myself. It's based off of this:

that image didn't appear to me at first, but after loading the url in another tab it does. (OFF: i've had problems with loading facebook and twitter pages on my firefox, for a long while now.. they do load, but not until i nudge them a little. Weird.)

so, will you write a website/thingy that generates silly statistics-based warnings? sounds good.
