Everyone was doing congratulations in advance, so I decided to send out my pride for these forums becoming fifty million earth years old, to mingle with the cosmic background noise.

Unfortunately, I don't think it matters if I found another unit that would appropriately place this celebratory date at this point in time, because 'anniversary' has everything to do linguistically with 'a year' regardless of what ever I come up with to justify it being different, afterwards.

Hypothetically, if we assumed that something was created X time ago, and divided X time into Y equal fictive units, then it would turn out that it is currently the Y-th anniversary of the thing. Simply, in most cases that units would have an unconventional duration! :smile:
