Question regarding RPs

So, I was just wondering... How exactly are we expected to have a long-lasting RP if it gets locked after a few weeks of inactivity?

there was a discussion about defining dead RPs somewhere but i can't find it, it may have been deleted. I too think that 3 weeks-1month is a little short period, but i'm no RPer.
The problem is that there are no real active RP mods nowadays. But you can always PM Lunar_Furor for example, with anything RP related.
About closing/opening threads, feel free to PM me.
I'm assuming you are refering to "Stranded on ASDF Island" now, right? I just reopened it then. If it really is inactive, we'll stick to the "code of conduct" and hold a poll for opening it, although i haven't seen a poll like that on here before. I think this kind of voting would need to be unanonymous to avoid non-players having a say in someone else's rp. Gah, it's complicated.

Thanks for pointing that out. I either didn't realize that or had forgotten.
Yes, that is the thread I was referring to. I'm going to try to give it another push, and see if it goes somewhere.
A month does seem a little short. Sometimes, especially if it's a small RP, some of the players aren't going to be able to always be active all the time.
Again, thanks.
