did these people actually volunteer to do the job?
i mean, it's a good thing that you're starting a poll, but shouldn't the nominees be people who would like to do it? I'm not saying that i wouldn't, but i can't know about the others without first asking them.

And how do you even know that the mods are ready to host the awards yet? Just coz Keja brought it up, doesn't mean it needs a big hulla-balloo.

This is preparation!
And no, Atom, these people were not asked. But if the ASDF community wants them to be the host, then I expect them to step up to the plate and accept! But if anybody wants to be taken off, then I'll remove them.

So in otherwords, you expect them to just drop everything they're doing, whether they're busy with homework/jobs etc, to host an awards thing because they were voted, whether they want to or not?

Fix'd that... Jeez, you can't really just go and make a poll about this without asking anyone... I would prefer it if this was handled by the Mods and not just whoever gets the most votes in a poll...

How many times do i have to tell people this forum isn't a democracy before they understand?
It's really not a big deal and something the moderators should discuss between themselves and pick someone of their choice to do it, be it one of them or another user willing to organise the event.
