I sorta take offence at this. You're practically mocking the fact that people have shit going on in their lives and want to leave for a little while, and make them sound like bad people for it. No-one ever really says they're leaving for good unless they mean it, but most people just need to take a break from ASDFing, and that doesn't make them horrible people.

So I guess it comes down to a choice, because I've had a lot of shit in my life happen this past year but rather than come here and tell everyone I'm not posting for a while I just disappear and reappear when I'm able/willing.

Have you given us a reason to have negative feelings towards your posts?

I'm sure I've offended many a visitor to this place (case in point above).
