Not exactly just for lazy people, but that works too...Arkannine wrote:You only need to install everything once... It's not like you buy a new pc every week. That's just laziness imo. And you don't need to stick to wmp, I use winamp, you can just load a folder or playlist or just pick your songs really. If you want your title and stuff to be organized, you can do that easily... Your post is basically saying Macs are for lazy people...vraiment wrote:Silly boy, that what I hate about my city, everyone speaks like that about politics, and the truth is that they all are SO wrong... silly people...ForrestKeys wrote:Linux owns them all. Except Google. I meant between the operative system war.
Google's operating systems (Chrome OS and Android) are heavy modified versions of Debian GNU/Linux...
And there is no such war, just users that "choice".
I had the chance to choice between a MacBook Pro and a Dell, and I liked more the MacBook Pro, why? 'cause in Mac everything *almost* is bundle to work all together out-of-the-box, the mail client, rss reader, calendar, agenda, browser and music player they all work all together, and that's something that I like as I can have all my data consolidated, just use iSync and all my contacts from my mac are in my cellphone... With Windows (that I think that 7 is neat but still don't like it, 'cause: ) you have to download Thunderbird and Firefox or Chrome, plus iTunes (I like better iTunes than Winamp or WMP 'cause is just easy to manage your library) and don't forget the nokia sync software that comes with its own music player and video player, plus the command line in windows IS THE GREATEST SH*T EVER CREATED FOR WORK IN TEXT MODE, and after you download an configure all this stuff, they all work on his own, Chrome/Firefox thinks his own way, same with Thunderbird, iTunes, Nokia software, etc. It's just a mess, yes someone that's studying computer as career can manage that, but seriously, I prefer to focus in programing and another important stuff that installing software...
And Gnome/KDE from Linux or BSD do their best job putting "glue" between software pieces, but as most are independent software projects, it's pretty hard, two companies that deserve my respect for work in this "glue" are Canonical with Ubuntu, and the KDE Software...
But if you hate to be "no-free" and like to be a hippie, use Linux, if you think you are cool for using a nice computer buy a Mac and if you just give a sh*t or think that Apple is evil use Windows (and if you are fraeaky use BSD)

Not exactly, as Google is a branch of ASDF therefore less than the total essence of ASDF.Flying Sheep wrote:ASDF is everything. It is life. It is death. It is everything in between. ASDF is also google, Therefore both those statements are true.
Google cannot take over the world. ASDF already dominates it.Flying Sheep wrote:Yes, but ASDF is everything, so therefore ASDF is google. And even if it is a brance like you said, then it still counts as ASDF, so you just confirmed my statement.
