i usually check the ones with interesting titles/new ones/the ones that i remember having a conversation in or just remember recently replying to it.
But aside from the sticky threads, i recommend checking "Let this thread die" , and =-The infinite 20k Thread!-= because these can't die.

Even with Atom only semi-active the forum doesn't need more mods... There's pretty much almost the same number of mods as there are non-mods users...
