I just found out that I can't write One Chance. My friend used it in his english paper after I showed it to him and I just got a call saying that if I don't take it off the internet, he fails English III honors. I don't want him to fail so I'm afraid I'm taking down One Chance. That bastard.

however, why can't you just take it down until he gets his mark on English III, then put it back again?

Leave it anyway? He deserves it if he used it without any consent...

That's not fair. It's your story, and it's not right for him to steal your work. It took effort, and if he doesn't want to take effort by himself to pass English III honors then he doesn't deserve to. If I were you, I'd let him fail. He's just taking advantage of you, and it will make you look stupid if you help him do this. Don't take down One Chance. Stand up for yourself.

My pride in a fan-fiction and his chances of ever getting into a collage are two completely different things. Plus, this means I can kick his ass and if he tells anyone then he also has to admit to stealing my work.

"honors" is just a special word for advanced

I'm confused as to why you have to take down your story, because he based an essay on it.

no, it was more like copying it, changing a few details, printing it, and submitting it as his own. In case you don't know, that's a Federal Offense, he can actually serve time for that.

So he stole your story, then slightly edited it, and said that's his own?
I didn't know it was like that, and yes I know that's bad.

So if you don't take your story off, will you get in trouble, or will he be busted?
