Most users ever online was 181 on Sat Jun 30, 2007 5:17 pm.
I've never seen more than 15 and that was mostly guests.

My guess would be that we didn't have any form of anti-spam, maybe with the exception of the picture when you register, so they were mostly bots...

Not to the ones who have to clean up all this spam either...
As of today, still, each day there are about 10-20 spam topics, that I know off... Not talking about the ones removed by the other mods...

Take note of the websites mentioned and report them to the Irish Guard.

Cause they can only post in the Introduction section unless they're a part of the ASDF usergroup, and those threads and messages have to be approved first...

So you made a group that you had to be in to post, and moderators had to approve of you to be in that group? Ingenious!

But what would happen if a mod is a bot

Technically it's registered users who are able to post in the Introduction, where every new topic must be approved by a mod... When a mod finds a new member between the pile of spam, he approves the topic, puts the user in the usergroup so he can post in the other sections, and then moving the topic to general so others can say hi...

I have a friend who's quite shy, but I can guarantee he isn't a bot.
His name is poiuztrewq.
You can approve him if you want to.
