In America, about 50% of the people they asked couldn't tell them a country starting with "u"? (According to a survey)
In Germany, in a TV-Show, the question "What is George W. Bush's first name" was answered incorrectly? (I saw that live)
In Germany, in a TV-Show, the question "What is the profession of president Bush" was answered incorrectly? (I saw that live, was 1 year b.O.)

First of all they probably asked for the name of a foreign country, otherwise that's what they assumed.

Second, everyone (90% of the developed world) knows statistics are Bullshit. Example, the statistics on overall U.S. unemployment vary from 10% to 20%.
