I think you misunderstood Mr. Spaghetti... He was basically saying if Pinback, Coldplay or any of the other things you put 3rd on the list wouldn't be as great if those below didn't exist... Thus it would be illogical to have those things below the bands...

Kumquats are small orange-green fruits and you can eat their skin in addition to their insides, in contrast wih an orange. They make me sneeze. My dad brought the kumquats back from a buisness trip, yes, and I ate one and immediately had an uncontrollable sneezing fit. It was pretty amazing.
