I don't understand why people get these weird obsessions with bands and people. They're all flawed and you will always know that no matter what, one day you will not even care for them anymore.

Ah, it depends on their timelessness and talent. For example, take the Beatles. They have been popular for several years. I'll listen to what I want and you can just be boring.
