As someone who has studied translation theory and practice... I'm still not qualified to create a language. I'd need in-depth linguistics know-how for that.

Actually, there does appear to be a correlation between myopia (nearsightedness) and higher than average intelligence. There's an article from 1988 in The New York Times about it ( link ), and there's some more recent stuff about it, too ( link ). So while the need for glasses doesn't automatically...

British pronunciation usually has a much "softer" r sound. So "artistic" sounds a lot like "autistic". Misunderstanding happened.
