Re: Rain, rain, go away...

Farsi doesn't have Latin characters. Neither does Hebrew, so we couldn't be "asdf." We would have to be the equivalent in their alphabets. Afrikaans would work, though.

Re: Rain, rain, go away...

I learned English not because I wanted to communicate with British or American people, or even because I wanted to communicate with anyone in the world. In my case, it was because I wanted to communicate with my parents.

Re: Rain, rain, go away...

Nah, people learn English because it's the current lingua franca. Before English it was French, and some time before that it was Latin. The Internet may help keep it English, but only time will tell.

Re: Rain, rain, go away...

English is an official language in Wales, because they want Welsh as an official language, but can't have thag without making the more widely spoken English official too. The rest of the UK doesn't have any official languages though, I think. It's that way in the United States, too, I believe. Some...

Re: Rain, rain, go away...

English is an official language in at least one country on every continent (except for Antarctica, of course), and the de facto language in a handful of other countries. (Interesting fact: English is not the official language in the UK or in the US. They fall under the "de facto" category). No other...

Re: Which Pokemon should I choose?

I had to use one non-water Pokemon. They wouldn't let me do my first double battle with just one Pokemon. Thinking back, I could have maybe traded with someone.

It was only one battle, then back to the PC box it went.

Re: Which Pokemon should I choose?

Yeah, I know. But as you can see by this topic, I just started a new game, so I'm not in a position to have a team with older generation Pokemon. Otherwise, I'd have one of the several Water/Ice Pokemon on my team to help counter grass.

Re: Which Pokemon should I choose?

I get it. You would have an advantage. Kind of obvious given that you'll have full Grass and I'll have full Water. I'm nowhere near having access to Pokemon from previous generations, such as Rotom, yet, though.

Of course.

Actually, looking at the image on the first post, I can definitely see a similarity to the drawing style of the Power Puff Girls.
