Well, in Amsterdam they have these coffee shops. The coffee sucked and there was always this acrid air in every one of them, but they had various pastries to eat (brownies and cake mostly), although they tasted odd. Still, I remember it being a very amusing time.

I heard that the tobacco industry at one point was going to use Pokemon as a sponsor with the hopes of getting kids to smoke. The preliminary brainstorming for this "Smokey Mon" marketing scheme revolved around the creation of two new characters: Packortoo and Smokatchu.
